These terms and conditions govern your use of the AquariumCraft website at aquariumcraft.co.uk and the services we provide. By using our website or booking a service with us you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

ABOUT US

AquariumCraft is a professional aquarium installation, maintenance, cleaning and design company based in North West London. You can contact us . References to “we”, “us” and “our” throughout these terms refer to AquariumCraft.

OUR SERVICES

We provide aquarium installation, maintenance, cleaning, design, repair, emergency call-out, pond building and maintenance, aquarium moving and relocation, removal and disposal, commercial aquarium services and aquarium hire and rental across North West London and the surrounding areas. The specific services available and the areas we cover are described on our website and may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

QUOTES AND PRICING

All quotes provided by AquariumCraft are free and carry no obligation. Quotes are based on the information provided to us at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to revise a quote if the work required on the day differs materially from what was described during the initial enquiry. We will always discuss any change in price with you before carrying out additional work. All prices include labour and standard consumables used during the visit unless otherwise stated. Additional products, replacement equipment or specialist materials required during a visit will be quoted and agreed with you before being supplied.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Bookings are confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from AquariumCraft. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a scheduled visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee at our discretion. For emergency call-out bookings, cancellations made after we have begun travelling to your property may be subject to a call-out fee. We will always try to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible and will give you as much notice as we can if we need to move a visit on our side.

ACCESS TO YOUR PROPERTY

You agree to provide us with safe and reasonable access to the aquarium or pond and the surrounding area on the day of the visit. For customers who are not present during a visit, you are responsible for ensuring that agreed access arrangements such as key safes or concierge instructions are in place and functioning. We are not responsible for delays caused by access issues that were not communicated to us before the visit.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We will carry out all services with reasonable care and skill. We will use appropriate equipment and products for the type of aquarium or pond being serviced. We will advise you honestly about the condition of your tank and the work we recommend. We carry public liability insurance and will act responsibly in the event that any damage occurs as a direct result of our negligence during a visit. Any claim must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the visit in question.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us about your aquarium, its inhabitants and its condition is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for the ongoing care of your aquarium between our scheduled visits. We are not responsible for deterioration in water quality, livestock health or equipment condition that occurs between appointments. You are responsible for ensuring that any third party products or treatments you add to the tank between visits are safe and appropriate and do not conflict with work we have carried out.

LIVESTOCK

We take all reasonable care when handling fish and other livestock during visits, cleans, installations, moves and removals. However we cannot guarantee the survival of livestock and we are not liable for the loss of fish or other animals that occurs despite our reasonable care. In the event that livestock is lost during a service we carry out, we will investigate the cause and advise you honestly on what happened. Livestock replacement is only included where explicitly stated as part of a specific service agreement such as a commercial maintenance contract.

AQUARIUM HIRE AND RENTAL

Aquarium hire agreements are subject to a separate hire agreement document which will be provided at the time of booking. By entering into a hire agreement you accept responsibility for the reasonable care of the hired equipment during the hire period. You are responsible for any damage to hired equipment beyond fair wear and tear. We retain ownership of all hired equipment at all times. Hired equipment must not be moved from the agreed installation address without our prior written consent.

WEBSITE USE

The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only. We make every effort to ensure the information is accurate and up to date but we make no warranties or representations about its completeness or accuracy. We reserve the right to update, change or remove any content on our website at any time without notice. We are not responsible for the content of any third party websites linked from our website.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the AquariumCraft website including text, images, logos and design is the property of AquariumCraft and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AquariumCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or the provision of our services. Our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website with the date of the last update shown at the top. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
